New mini rod team in Germany

Germany has a new mini rod pulling team this year. Patrick Brennemann and his father bought the old Randaleeisen of M. Kühnemund from Germany last year. The mini rod is powered by a original 8l Chevy Big Block V8 engine on methanol. The engine has a Littlefield 14-71 blower  with a Gerardot Injection Scoop and a Mallory Mag 4 ignition. The Chevy V8 engine was resived by Post & Dros in Dronten, the Netherlands. The engine got at Post & Dros a set new pistons, new rods, new valves, new camshafts, a new crankshaft and many other new parts. Also, the mini rod has a Crower clutch and a reverser. The Team use on their mini rod a set old Firestone tyres with Zimmermann rims (Joker Pulling Team). Which new name the tractor get´s, is secret at the moment.
The Team will compete in the German Championship this year. The first start of the mini rod is planned for the 25th of April 2015 in Füchtorf, Germany.
