The new Trelleborg Rat Poison Light Unlimited

After many years in the Unlimited and Modified class, the Rat Poison Pulling Team from Genoa, Ohio in the USA made the switch into the Light Unlimited Modified class this year. The new Rat Poison is powered by 2 Allison V12 aircraft engines on methanol. The engines comes from Brian Diekman´s old Rat Poison Unlimited Mod tractor. The two Allison V12 engines were revised and got some changes during the last winter. The both engines got a new oil tank, a new methanol tank and newly air intake funnels. The air intake funnels were manufactured by Bill Snyder (Bill´s Tool and Machine).
The tractor got a home made 42CrMo4 tube frame with a home made ROP. The drivers position is more forward and the center of gravety is lower. The Crossbox, the Franklin planetaries, the front wheels and aluminium spindels were built by SCS Gearbox in Bellevue, Ohio. The Team used Hoosier Tire cutting 10 ply pullers from their old Rat Poison UNL for this season. Also new for the Rat Poison Team is,  they have for the first time a main sponsor on the tractor. The Team sign a sponsor contract with the agricultural tyre manufacturer Trelleborg Wheel Systems USA. Trelleborg is a worldwide acting plastic group, with headquaters in Trelleborg, Sweden.
The Rat Poison Pulling Team around Brian and Gary Diekman from Genoa, Ohio in the USA, have partnered with Jeremy and Ralph Schindler from Colfax, Wisconsin. The Team will compete in the 6000 lbs (2,722t) Light Unlimited Modified class in the NTPA Grand National Championship with the twin Allison tractor this year.
