New Light Super Stock of the Karlen Pulling Team

The Karlen Pulling Team from Minerva, Ohio in the USA have built a new Light Super Stock tractor during the last winter. The tractor has a homemade 42CrMo4 tube frame with a SQHD rear axle housing. The rear axle got a billet SQHD differential with Mercedes spindles and stock Mercedes plantaries. The Mercedes spindles were directly welded on the rearend housing. All the rearend work were made by Bill Humphrey from Humpco machine. The axles, driveshaft and the input shaft were built by Tim Engler (Engler Machine).

The entire engine was built by Terry and Josh Blackbourn of Blackbourn Racing Components.
The tractor has a 6 cylinder AGCO DT466 engine with a Blackbourn Racing Aluminium cylinder head and 3 turbochargers on methanol.
The hood on the tractor is a AGCO DT 275B, a Massey Ferguson 8690 has the same hood. The Light Super Stock tractor got a set of new rims with Firestone Puller 2000 HP tyres. The tractor gets a new paint job next winter. The current paint scheme is, one side of the hood being orange for AGCO and the other side is red for Massey Ferguson at the moment.
The Karlen Pulling Team will compete in the NTPA Grand National Championship this year.
