The new Titan Light Mod

The Titan Pulling Team from France have built a new Tractor for the Light Mod class during the last 2 years. The Light Mod has a Chrome-Moly wedge frame with a homemade Rollcage (ROP), a Rockwell rearend with a Fuller ring and pinion gear, Mercedes planetaries and homemade aluminium fenders. The French Team have purchased the wedge frame with the complete rearend by Paul Liefooghe (Mad Max Pulling Team) from Belgium in 2014. The Vehicle also received a SCS reverser, a homemade drivetrain and a 4 disc Crower centrifugal clutch with a Browell clutch bell housing. The Team bought for their Light Mod a set of used rims with old Firestone Double Cut tyres.
The new Titan is powered by an naturally aspirated Rover Meteor V12 tank engine on petrol fuel.
The most of the parts on the engine are currently standard Rover parts. But the Rover engine got some little changes. The Team changed from 2 to 3 carburetors, the fuel supply and the ignition were modified and the lubrication improved.
The Team was satisfied with their first season so far. The Titan Pulling Team will compete in the French Championship next year.
