Green Gangster Deere at the NFMS Pull 2017

The Zeinstra Pulling Team from Oudenkerk aan de Amstel had a little bit of bad luck with their John Deere 5020 Component Super Stock Tractor called ,,Green Gangster Deere" at the Thursday Session of the 49th NFMS Pull in Louisville, Kentucky in the USA last week. Driver Rowan Zeinstra made a great start with his Tractor and was with a good speed and good balance on the Freedom Hall track underway to a good result. But short before the sand pile, one of the 4 turbochargers on the JD engine blew up in smoke. The distance of 214.733 feet wasn’t good enough for the Finals on Saturday Night. Rowan came 28cm too short for the finals. The winner of the 8000lbs Super Stock Alcohol class in this session was Brent Payne from Hamilton, Ohio with the Agco Tractor called ,,Galot 1", runner up position went to the current NTPA Grand National Champion John Strickland from Clinton, North Carolina with ,,Galot 2" and in 3rd was Josh Blackbourn from Newton, Wisconsin with his Case IH Super Stock Tractor  called ,,Armed & Dangerous International Threat".
All in all, the Dutch Team was a little bit disappointed, but also happy on the other site, because they were onlly around 3m behind the later winner in this class.

The Zeinstra Pulling Team would also like to give a big thanks to Brent Payne (Gene's Machine Shop) for the support and help during the time !
