Pics and news of the new Le Coiffeur Stage 9

After the sell of his RR Griffon V12 powered Light Mod called ,,Le Coiffeur Stage 8´´, the Le Coiffeur Pulling Team around Frank Bartholome from Georgsmarienhütte in Germany are currently building a new 2.5t / 5500lbs. Light Modified Tractor. The new vehicle receives a new homemade Domex 700 wedge frame with a homemade Chrome-Moly Rollcage (ROP), a homemade hydraulic steering and a revised Rockwell rear axle housing. The rearaxle housing was machined by their sponsor Quander Metall- und Lasertechnik GmbH in Versmold,
Germany. The rear axle has a aluminium Humpco center section with a Rockwell ring and pinion gear, aluminium differential from the Green Monster Team and SQHD magnesium planetary carrier housing with CAT 966 planetaries. The machine also get new Audi RS4 brakes with Furka brake pads, a homemade drivetrain, a Humpco transmission, a 11´´ inch Molinari (MRP) centrifugal clutch with 4 discs and a Browell clutch bell housing. The drivers position on the new one is more forward and the center of gravety is lower, than on his old single Griffon Tractor. The Team hopes to get a better balance with those changes. The new carbon fiber fenders of the new Tractor was made by the Rocket Science Pulling Team from Weert in the Netherlands. The new ride also gets a set of used Midwest aluminium rims with Firestone Puller 2000 HP tyres. The rims and tyres come from the old Red Painter Light Mod.
The new Le Coiffeur Stage 9 will have 2 KB Hemi (one Stage 6 and Stage 10) engines on methanol. The 2 engines ran on the Red Painter last year. Both engines have a KB cast aluminium block with Veney cylinder heads, ARP aluminium rods and Sassy Racing pistons, Dan Olson Racing Products exhaust headers, a SSI 14-71 blower with a Veney injector scoop, a Sassy Racing methanol fuel system, a new homemade stainless steel fuel tank and a MSD Pro Mag 44 ignition.
The Le Coiffeur Pulling Team will compete in the German Championship this year.
The maiden run of the new Le Coiffeur Stage 9 is planned for 30th of April 2016 at the German Championship opener in Füchtorf.
