The new Matrix Light Modified

From Hoeven in the Netherlands, the Matrix Pulling are currently building a new Tractor for the 2.5t/5500lbs. Light Modified class. The new Light Mod receives a new homemade Domex 700 wedge frame with a homemade ROP (Rollcage), a homemade rear axle housing and a homemade steering. The new carbon fiber fenders for the new project were purchased by the Rocket Science Pulling Team from Weert in the Netherlands. The rear axle gets a Rockwell center section, a Rockwell ring and pinion gear with a Rockwell differential and Mercedes planetary carrier housing with special made Mercedes planetaries. The calculatins for the newly constructed/planned crossbox behind the engines were made by the Team himself. The aluminium housing of the new homemade crossbox will CNC milled in their own workshop and receives some special made gears. What for a reverser and driveline the Tractor gets isn't sure at the moment.
The former Compact Diesel Team also bought for their new project a set of new Puller tyres with new Midwest aluminium rims from the USA.
The new Light Modified will have 2 turbocharged 6 cylinder Cummins engines with 5.9l capacity.
Each engine receives a Cummins engine block with a revised stock crankshaft, billet aluminium rods and pistons from the USA,
a homemade intake and exhaust manifold, one Holset HX turbocharger, a revised Cummins stock cylinderhead with revised camshafts, original valves and valve springs, homemade fuel and oil tanks and a MSD ignition.
The Matrix Pulling Team will compete with their new Light Mod in the NTTO National Championship in the future.
The maiden run of the new Matrix Light Mod is planned for 2018.
