Changes on Iessel Diesel

The Dutch Ford 9600 Light Super Stock Tractor called ,,Iessel Diesel´´ received some changes during the last winter. The Team from Gorrsel in the Netherlands bought a set of used 24.5x32 Firestone Puller 2000 tyres from the Neighbours Nightmare Pulling Team in the Netherlands. The Pro Stock Team use those tyres on their John Deere Tractor for 3 years. Also the guys purchased a set of used Midwest aluminium rims of the Six Shooter Super Stock Team. But the rims were too wide for the Puller 2000 Pro Stock tyres. They made the aluminium rims smaller for the tyres. That also gave the opportunity to make the rear axle smaller and lighter. The modified Ford rear axle is almost 300mm smaller on each side now. The clutch bell housing of the Light Super Stock got a new homemade protection liner fitted. The Team can ride now without the shatter blanket around the stock clutch bell housing.
The 6 cylinder Ford engine with 6.6l capacity also supplied a new camshaft during the winter. They developed a new special camshaft, together with Jan Burggraaf (New Generation Pulling Team) from in the Netherlands for the engine.
But the Team from Gorrsel have planned to built up a new 7.6l Ford Powerstar engine for the season of 2018/2019.
This season the Iessel Diesel Pulling Team will compete in the Dutch National Championship.
