New Mini Rod Team in Sweden

 The Pink Power Pulling Team around Willner Andersson and Jesper Bengtsson from Vellinge in Sweden have built a new 950kg Mini Modified Tractor during the last winter. After many years in Compact Diesel and 2.5t Light Mod (Smoking Eagle) Pulling, the Swedish Team has decided in the end of 2016 to make the switch into the Mini Modified class for 2017. The Tractor got a new homemade Docol tube frame with an homemade Docol Rollcage (ROP), a homemade rear axle housing, a self built steering and new homemade plastic fenders. The new ride have a Ford 9" inch rear axle with a Vreeman Special Products aluminium differential, a homemade aluminium center section, a special made ring and pinion gear and homemade aluminium planetaries carrier housing with Case 1390 hub reductions. The new Pink Power also get a homemade driveline with a Lenco reverser, a new 11" inch Crower centrifugal clutch with 2 discs and a Crower clutch bell housing. Willner and Jesper bought a set of new Real Wheel aluminium rims with Pioneer Giant Puller tyres from the USA for their new Mini.
The new Mini Rod is powered by a Keith Black Oldsmobile V8 engine on methanol fuel.
The young Team have purchased the engine by the Cougar Pulling Team in Sweden. The engine has a Keith Black Oldmobile block with Big Brodix heads, a 14-71 Littlefield Hi Helix supercharger with a aluminuim scoop, a billet crankshaft with billet aluminium pistons and rods, a homemade fuel tank and a Mallory Mag 3 ignition.
The Pink Power Pulling Team will compete in the Swedish Championship this year.
