The Tractor was completely developed and built built by the RMI Team on Solid Works.
The new Reny Mission Impossible has a homemade 25CrMo4 tube frame with a homemade 25CrMo4 Rollcage, a homemade steering, a Domex sheet metal rear axle housing of Bennie Vreeman, self built whellie bars and homemade aluminium fenders. The drivers position on the new one is 300mm more forward, the center of gravity is lower and the Allison power plant sits 240mm more forward now than on the previous Reny Mission Impossible Mini Mod. The Team hopes to get a better balance with the Cepek tyres with those changes.
The Dutch Team purchased for the Mini a set of new Real Wheel aluminium rims with new Pioneer Giant Puller tyres from the USA.
The new rearend of the Mini Modified got a Ford 9" inch rear axle, a billet aluminium differential with a aluminuim center section, a special made ring and pinion gear, billet aluminium planetaries carrier housing with special made planetaries and new homemade brakes with Moto - Master components. Bennie Vreeman of Vreeman Special Products (VSP) have built the complete rear axle for the Team. The new ride also received VSP driveline, a 10´´ inch centrifugal clutch with 3 discs from Aadri van der Veeken (owner and driver of the New Holland Pro Stock Tractor called ,,Wickie Power´´) and a Trick Titanium clutch bellhousing. Because of the weight, the Tractor has no transmission, only a step-up planetaries gearbox with special made gears from Vreeman Special Products.
The new Reny Mission Impossible is powered by a supercharged Allison V12 V1710 Aircraft engine on methanol fuel. The power plant has a modified Allison stock engine block with modified Allison sleeves, revised Allison cylinder heads with revised camshafts, stock valves and special made springs, a lighter Allison crankshaft with stock bearings, Allison G6 rods and modified Allison pistons, a homemade air intake manifold with stock Allison parts, a Pro Charger F3 blower with a homemade air intake funnel and air filter, homemade titanium exhaust pipes, a dry sump lubrication, a homemade aluminium fuel and oil tank, a self built fuel system with a Hillborn methanol fuel pump and a homemade ignition with Mallory parts. Because of the weight, the cylinder banks of the Aircraft engine were milled down, the water jacket removed and the spark plugs exempted. The transmission on the front end of the Allison engine for the Pro Charger has a CNC milled aluminium housing with special made gears from Vreeman Special Products and special made driveshafts for the camshaft drive. The aluminium housing for the gearbox was milled by Bergmans Tools in Lommel, Belgium.
The Reny Mission Impossible Pulling Team around Rene Geerts will compete with their new 950kg Mini Modified in the NTTO Dutch Grand National Championship and in the Euro Cup this season.
