Jason Hathaway´s new Honkin´ Donkey Grey is ready !

Jason Hathaway´s new 2050lbs. Mini Rod called ,,Honkin´ Donkey Grey´´ is ready for the 2017 Pulling season. The Mini got a 25CrMo4 tube frame with a 25CrMo4 Rollcage, new homemade carbon fiber fenders, a Vreeman Special Products rearend and a set of new Reel Wheel aluminium rims with cut Cepek Mini Rod tyres from CM Pulling Tires. Jason purchased the new Chassis by the Screamin´ Bobcat Pulling Team from Ijsselmuiden in the Netherlands last year. The drivers position on the new tube Chassis is more forward and center of gravity is lower than on his previous Honkin´ Donkey Minis. The Team hopes to get a better balance with this new Chassis in the future.
The new Honkin´ Donkey has a Ford 9´´ inch rear axle with a billet aluminium center section, a aluminium diff with a special made ring and pinion gear and billet aluminium planetaries carrier housing with special made planetaries. The Ford rear axle was completely built by Bennie Vreeman (Vreeman Special Products) from Neede in the Netherlands. The new ride also have a SCS transmission with a VSP driveline, a new 8´´ inch Molinari centrifugal clutch with 2 discs and a Trick Titanium clutch bellhousing.
The new Honkin´ Donkey is powered by a Sassy Racing V8 Hemi engine on methanol fuel. The engine has a BAE billet aluminium block with BAE-10 Alcohol Fat Head cylinder heads, Moroso valve covers, a Winberg crankshaft with MGP aluminium rods and CP-Carrillo aluminium pistons, homemade exhaust headers, a Mike Janis supercharger with an Mike Janis ,,Dragon Slayer´´ billet aluminium injector scoop, a Sassy Racing fuel system, a dry sump lubrication, a RCD oil pump, a aluminium fuel and oil tank, a MSD Pro Mag 44 ignition and a Racepak data logger. The Honkin´ Donkey Pulling Team from Washington, Pennsylvania in the USA will compete in the NTPA Grand National Championship this season
