The new Great Experience received a new homemade S420 steel wedge frame with a homemade Rollcage, a homemade hydraulic steering, a DAF Truck rearend and a New Holland T7 270 hood.
The fenders and the hood are based on the current New Holland T7 series. The Super Sport have a Profab 3 speed transmission with a self built drivetrain, a 12.5" inch JVG centrifugal clutch with 5 discs and a homemade clutch bellhousing. The DAF 1339 Truck rear axle has a original DAF center section with a DAF ring and pinion gear, a homemade needle bearing differential, van der Waal Pulling Parts brakes with self constructed brake discs and stock Mercedes planetary carrier housing with Mercedes planetaries. The Tractor also received a set of new homemade steel rims with new cut Michelin 710/70R38 tyres. The Michelin tyres were cut by Hans Heesakkers from the Netherlands.
The Great Experience is powered by an an 6 cylinder FPT (Fiat Powertrain Technologies) Cursor 9 engine with 8.3l capacity on diesel fuel. The FPT power plant got a Cursor engine block with a stock crankshaft, special made rods (manufactured by Chris Maassen) and billet pistons, billet sleeves, a modified FPT stock cylinder head with 24 valves, billet camshafts, a homemade intake and exhaust manifold, a Holset HX 82 turbocharger, a 8600 Bosch P diesel fuel pump, a homemade fuel tank and a homemade water Intercooler.
All in all, Wilco van Laar, Gerard Hardeman and the rest of the Team were very satisfied with the first hooks this season. On the first event in Erichem, the new Tractor ran pretty good and driver Wilco van Laar finished in 4th place. Only 2 weeks later in Oudenhoorn the Team won their first Dutch Championship round with the new Super Sport Tractor and beat the John Deere called ,,Black Magic´´ by a little bit more than 10m / 32.808 feet.
