The new Bank Robber

From State Center, Iowa in the USA, Doug Lively, together with his Bank Robber Pulling Team have built a new 7500lbs. Modified Tractor for the NTPA Grand National circuit during the last winter.
The new Bank Robber got a completely new wedge frame with a new built chrome-moly Rollcage, a custom made steering, new fenders from Kens Welding ultra lite and a Full Pull Motorsports fabricated sheet metal rear axle housing.
The new Chassis was constructed and completely built by Modern Machine & Tool Inc. in Van Buren, Indiana. The Chassis received some minor changes compared to the old Tedder Performance built Bank Robber Chassis. The Team ran with this Tedder Performance Chassis from 2012 until last year. Doug uses for his new ride a set of Midwest aluminium rims with a pair of new cut Firestone Puller 2000 HP tyres. But, Doug and his Team currently waiting for a set of new Alliance Puller tyres for the Tractor. The main sponsor of the Team developing on a Puller tyre for the Tractor Pulling Sport since a certain time. The Team hopes to get the first set of new Alliance Puller tyres during the 2017 season.
The new Full Pull Motorsports rearend of the new Bank Robber has a Humpco billet aluminium center section with a Humpco billet differential, aluminium billet planetary carrier housing from Engler Machine & Tool and Crutchfiled Machine manufactured planetaries. The Mod also received a Humpco billet reverser, Profab driveshafts, Molinari centrifugal clutches with 3 discs and 4 Browell clutch bellhousing. The Crossbox also was built by Profab Machine in Baldwin, Wisconsin.
A lots of parts like the Crossbox, the driveline, rims, engines etc. were took over of the old Bank Robber Modified Tractor.
The new Mod run with 4 Sassy Racing V8 Hemi engines on methanol fuel. Each Hemi engine should be make around 2000-2200 HP on the dyno. The power plants have a BAE billet aluminium block with billet cranks, billet aluminium rods with Sassy Racing pistons, Ken Veney cylinder heads with billet camshafts, Dan Olson exhaust headers and oil pans, SSI 8-71 blowers with a Enderle big & ugly aluminium scoop, a Sassy Racing fuel system with Rage fuel pumps, aluminium fuel tanks and MSD Pro Mag 44 ignitions. The Bank Robber Pulling Team compete in the NTPA Grand National Championship this summer.
