Ghost Buster 5 is ready !

After a lots of work during the last months and weeks, the new 950kg / 2095lbs. Mini Modified Tractor of the Ghost Buster Pulling Team from Oberharmersbach in South Germany is ready. The new Ghost Buster 5 got a homemade 15CDV6 tube chassis with a homemade 15CDV6 Rollcage and a homemade steel rear axle housing. All the sheet metal parts for the frame were laser cut by Krämer Brennteile in Hofstetten, Germany. The learned welder Lubomir Franz from Oberharmersbach made the completely welding work on the new chassis during the last winter. The Ford 9´´ inch rearend comes out of the old Isotov TV3 Turbine powered Mini Mod called ,,Ghost Buster 2´´. The rear axle has a homemade differential with a new billet Moser Engeneering aluminium center section, a ring and pinion gear from Richmond Gears, homemade planetary carrier housing with homemade planetaries, a new homemade single wheel brake system with Porsche components and homemade brake discs. The new homemade fenders of the Mini were made from Dibond (aluminum composite plate). The company called ,,Werbepart´´ from Steinach-Kinzigtal made all the design work and the foil for the new Dibond fenders. The new ride also got a new homemade driveline with a Lenco reverser, a new 11´´ inch Crower centrifugal clutch with 2 discs and a Browell aluminium clutch bell housing. Normely they had planned to use a new homemade billet aluminium reverser with special made gears for the Tractor. The GB Team decided to drive for the moment with a Lenco reverser. But the new homemade reverser lies in their workshop and is almost done.
The Schwarz Family purchased for their Mini a set of new BBS rims with Pioneer Giant Puller tyres.
The new Ghost Buster 5 is powered by an EFI AJPE V8 Hemi engine with Pro Charger on methanol.
The engine received a aluminium billet AJPE TFX 2000 block with AJPE Stage 5 Hemi heads, Crane Cams camshafts with Manley valves and valve springs, a 4.5´´ Bryant crankshaft with BME billet rods and Arias pistons, a Pro Charger F3R-139 blower with an homemade 7´´ inch blade impeller wheel (built by the Gompie Team from the design of the Green Monster Pulling Team) and a homemade aluminium air intake funnel, a CNC milled aluminium gearbox housing with special
made gears and a homemade beltdrive for the Pro Charger, a homemade aluminium intake manifold, self made exhaust headers, a homemade aluminium fuel tank and a Rage methanol fuel pump.

Ryan Micke of Mick´s Performance from Wentzville, MO in the USA has built the EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) system for the V8 engine.
They also have with SolidCAM a new sponsor on the Tractor. SolidCAM has over 30 years of expertise in CAM development and applications. SolidCAM is the leading Integrated CAM software - seamlessly integrated in SOLIDWORKS and Autodesk Inventor.
