New Claas Component Super Sport of Bruggeman

The Bruggeman Pulling Team from the Netherlands are currently building a new 4.5t / 9260lbs. Claas Component Super Sport Tractor. After the sell of the old John Deere 7930 Super Sport Tractor, the Dutch Team decided to built a completely new Tractor with a Claas hood. The new Component Super Sport receives a completely new steel wedge frame with a new homemade Rollcage, a Rockwell rearend and a current Claas Axion 880 hood. The new Chassis were built by Zeinstra Chassis (Zeinstra Pulling Team) in Ouderkerk aan de Amstel ,the Netherlands. The fenders for the new Vehicle were bought by the Rough and Tumble Pulling Team. The new Axion 880 hood will completed by Jansen Carrosseriebouw from Wesepe, in the Netherlands. The Rockwell rearend gets a Rockwell stock center section with a aluminium differential, a Rockwell ring and pinion gear and Rockwell planetaries carrier housing with ZF planetaries.
The Team purchased for their new project a Profab 3 speed transmission. The new ride also will have a selfmade driveline, a  12" inch Crower centrifugal clutch with 4 discs, a original fly wheel from a CAT C9 engine and a homemade bell housing from Zeinstra Chassis. For the new Toy, they purchased a set of new Cut Michelin 650/60 R 38 Xeobib tyres on steel rims. The tyres were cut by Hans Heesakers from the Netherlands.
The new Component Super Sport will have an turbocharged 6 cylinder Caterpillar engine with 24 valves out of a Claas Xerion 3800. The engine has original 8.8l capacity, but because of the 8.3l capacity limit in this class, the power plant receives some smaller sleeves and pistons. The engine has a Caterpillar C9 stock block with Westwood sleeves, a standard CAT C9 crankshaft with billet rods and Zetor pistons, a homemade intake and exhaust manifold, a Holset HX82 turbocharger, a air / water intercooler, a Aviaid Stage 4 oil pump with Kaiser Performance (KP) oil filters, a 17mm Sigma diesel fuel injection pump made by ODS Diesel Performance, billet dual feet injectors by Columbus Diesel Supply from the USA and a homemade fuel tank.
The Bruggeman Pulling Team will compete with their new Claas Axion 880 in the Dutch Championship next season.
The Maiden run of the new 4.5t / 9260lbs. Super Sport is planned for the 23rd of March 2018 at the
Farm Stock Indoor Pull in Assen, the Netherlands.
