Q & A with Wilco van Laar

Wilco van Laar, from Overberg, in the Netherlands. Wilco is one of the owner and driver of the New Holland T7 270 4.5t / 9260lbs. Component Super Sport Tractor called ,,Great Experience´´. What are you doing in your normal life?
Wilco van Laar: Seller of Tractors and Agricultural Machinery (company Hoogendoorn in Houten). What do you like to do in your free time, except Tractor Pulling?
Wilco van Laar: Doing fun things with my Family. Making Agricultural work and Tractor packing parts for third parties. What do you like about Tractor Pulling?
Wilco van Laar: The technic of the Tractor, as much as possible to conceive and implement. A nice Team around me and the fight and conviviality with other Teams at the events. What was your first Tractor Pulling event?
Wilco van Laar: At a regional competition in Woudenberg (NL), about 20 years ago. What is your favourite Event / Pulling track?
Wilco van Laar: Stroe (NL). When and where do you have driven a Pulling Tractor for the first time?
Wilco van Laar: At a regional competition in Cothen (NL) in 2002. What was your biggest success?
Wilco van Laar: That we have become 2x Puller of the Year (2009 and 2017). Which Pulling classes do you like too?
Wilco van Laar: 3,6t Farm Stock, Pro Stock and Super Stock. What was your biggest disappointment?
Wilco van Laar: That I lost a friend and Team member in 2011 due to a fatal work accident. Which things must be changed in the future of the Tractor Pulling sport?
Wilco van Laar: Faster event progress so that more Tractors / classes can ride on a event. What are your plans for the future in Tractor Pulling?
Wilco van Laar: We have just built a nice new project and we hope to be able to move ahead with this in the future. Here is one of my dreams come true. What was for you the most important moment in the sport?
Wilco van Laar: The first run at the event in Erichem (NL) in 2017 with the new Great Experience. What was your favourite Pulling Tractor project in the workshop during a winter?
Wilco van Laar: Rebuilding a engine, put together and build up. Something you want to say?  
Wilco van Laar: That I can not realize this sport without our own Team and our sponsors. And the good / nice cooperation with different Teams within our sport. Because of this it sometimes seems like one big (Pulling) Family. Thank you for your time and good luck this year !
