R.I.P John Mumma

On February 13, 2019 the tractor pulling sport has lost another great man and competitor. ITPA vice president and 2WD Truck puller John Mumma, 67 years old from Philo, Illinois lost his life in a tragic car accident on his way to the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, Kentucky. John was a competitor in the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League of the Super Modified Two Wheel Drive category and won 2 titles with the 2WD Truck called ,,Rhino AG After Midnight´´ in 2012 and 2013.
He also competed successful on the ITPA pulling tracks in his home state Illinois, were he finished 3rd in the point standings last year.
John was a ambassador and advocate of the sport, just as importantly he was a mentor and advisor to many who sought his extensive experience and wisdom about the sport.
One is sure, competitors, organisers and the fans of the pulling sport will defnetly sorely miss him in the future. John will always in the mind of the people and will never be forgotten.

Our thoughts are with the whole family and the Midnight Motorsports Pulling Team. We wish them a lot of strength to cope with this terrible loss !
