Workshop news Team Blue Thunder

The Blue Thunder Pulling Team from Tonden in the Netherlands, are building a new Light Super Stock tractor at the moment. The tractor gets a 7.6l Powerstar engine on alcohol, with billet pistons, a billet crankshaft, a special stock cylinderhead and a billet Holset HX82 turbocharger. Also, the engine gets a VSP alcohol injection system from Willem Veldhuizen. The new Light Super Stock tractor gets a New Holland T7. 270 hood, a new wedge frame, a homemade ROP and a set new rims with Puller 2000 HP Pro Stock tyres.
The frame was constructed by Berrie Boer (Screamin´ Bobcat Team).
The New Holland gets a Rockwell rear end with a Humco differential and a Humco reverser.
The Team will compete in the Dutch National Championship. The first test of the new Blue Thunder is planned for the 25th of April 2015 at the German Championship event in Füchtorf, Germany.

New Holland T7. 270

Changes at Swedish Iron Toy

The mini rod called ,,Swedish Iron Toy´´ from Ljungbyhed in Sweden, gets some changes at the moment. The tractor gets a new BAE V8 billet engine block with some new specs in the coming months. The Turbocharger set up got some changes. The both turbochargers of the BAE V8 Hemi engine, were placed from the front end to the side of the engine. The intake and exhaust system of the turbochargers were resived and the engine got a new fuel tank. Also, the engine´s position is more forward. The Team hopes to ger a better balance of the mini rod with those changes.

Interceptor sold !

The Danish mini rod called ,,Interceptor´´ from Klaus Pedersen was sold to Austria. The new owner of the mini rod is the Team Makolm. The Team will compete in the Austrian Championship next year.

First pics and news of the new Il Tempo Gigante

After a 5 years absence, Bo Svendsen from Ranum in Denmark, working on his new Component Pro Stock tractor called ,,Il Tempo Gigante´´ at the moment. The tractor gets a home made Component chassis with a Case IH Puma hood and a set new Puller 2000 HP Pro Stock tyres. The tractor gets a 8.3l turbocharged Case IH engine with a billet crankshaft, a Sigma injection pump and a water intercooler system. Which size and type of turbocharger the engine gets, is Bo Svendsen´s secret at the moment. The first start of the the new Il Tempo Gigante is planned in the danish championship for 2015.

Pics and news of the new Blower Power

After almost a 10 years absence, the Blower Power mini rod pulling team from Norway, returns with a new mini rod in 2015. The team around Asbjorn Herikstad bought the old tube frame of the Hardcore Forces (Lambada 7) from Torben Häbel in Germany. But, the chassis gets some few modifications and a new paint job, this winter. Also, the fenders gets a new design. The new Blower Power gets a new BAE 557cis V8 Hemi engine with Veney 2.6 bat cylinderheads, a DMPE M5 18-71 blower and a Sassy fuel system. The team will compete in the Norwegian Championship, in the Euro Cup and hopefully at the European Championship next year.
A little bit history of the team. The team had a mini rod called ,,Blower Power´´, from 2001 - 2005. The tractor was powered by a blown KB V8 Hemi enigne. The Team won with this tractor in 2001 and 2002 the European Championship.The mini rod was sold to the danish Wild Toy pulling team, in the end of 2005.

Workshop news Smoking Devil Team

The Smoking Devil Team from Ahaus in Germany, are working on Smoking Devil´s Transmash V12 diesel engine at the moment. The Team bought a diesel tuning set of
the Truck Power Pulling Team from Denmark, a few months ago. Also, the Transmash V12 engine gets some new modified Iveco injection nozzles and a new bigger Bosch P pump with 16 elements. The Team hopes to find a little bit more horsepower of the Transmash engine with those changes.

Workshop visit Post & Dros

On the 15th of November 2014, I made a little workshop visit at Post & Dros in Dronten, in The Netherlands. Post & Dros assembles and revisees V8 engines for Drag Racing (Vegter Pro Mod Team), Tractor Pulling and many other different motorsport categories.  Marcel Hoornsman, team member of the Komeco Simply Irresistible team, made a little tour trough the workshops at Post & Dros with me and he explained me a little bit, what happens in the different workshops. So, we started in the first workshop, where the engine blocks, cylinder heads and crank shafts are processed. They have special machines to grind and balance the crankshafts and machines for prepearing the cylinder heads and a machine for engine block honing. One room further, they have a test bench for ignitions and fuel pumps. A workshop further,  Post & Dros assembles  engines for customers. Also, in the workshop of Post & Dros, is the base of the Komeco Simply Irresistible modified tractor. Currently, the tractor is completely disassembled. The 5 New Century V8 engines will revised and the tractor gets a new chassis over the winter.

One thing I can say after this visit, you can see a lot of interesting machines and V8 engine stuff in the Post & Dros workshop !

Gencom Lambada returns to europe !

After two seasons in the USA (NTPA GN), the mini rod called ,,Gencom Lambada´´, of the Dingerink family comes back to Europe. The mini rod is powered by a V8 KB Hemi engine. The first start of the Gencom Lambada on European ground is planned for the 24th of January 2015, at the indoor tractor pull in Zwolle, Netherlands.

Workshop news Licence to Kill

Jan Oeltjenbruns from Habern Zwei in north Germany, is building a new 600kg modified tractor at the moment. The new 600kg modified tractor gets 2 Suzuki Hayabusa motorcycle engines on petrol fuel and a new wedge frame with a new ROP. The engines sit side by side on the tractor. Also, the tractor gets a homemade crossbox. Jan use on the tractor a set used Trelleborg tyres with light steel rims. The first start of the new 600kg modified tractor is planned for 2015 in the German Championship.

Changes at Countdown

The Valtra Pro Stock tractor called ,,Countdown´´ from Morlunda in Sweden, gets some changes at the moment. The old bonnet of the tractor was replaced by a new Valtra T4 vi bonnet. Also, the Valtra gets new fenders and the Team bought a new lighter rear axle for the tractor. Last but not least, the tractor gets a set new rims and a set new Firestone Puller 2000 HP Pro Stock tyres.The Team hopes to be ready, with the changes a few days before the 20th of January 2015, for a exhibition in Sweden.
