Changes at Bredahl Brothers Red Line

The Danish Ford Pro Stock tractor called ,,Bredahl Brothers Red Line´´ got some changes during the last winter and this year. The engine of the Ford tractor got a new intercooler, a new homemade exhaust manifold and some new rods. The cylinder head of the Ford engine got new Valves and new Valve springs with the support of the Dingo Pulling Team from Denmark. Also, the tractor got a new paint job and a new design. But, the season wasn´t so well for for Bredahl´s. They had a lot of problems during the season with their tractor. The biggest problem were the crankshaft bearings and the too high engine temperature. The lubrication wasn´t so well and result was, the crankshaft bearings of the Ford engine were finished after 3 pulls. After the problems, the Bredahl Brothers Team changed a lot on the engine during the season. The Team hopes to get a better performance of the engine with those changes.

Tractor Pulling on DMAX

Discovery Channel´s German station ,,DMAX´´ starting its Tractor Pulling documentary series. The first episode of the Tractor Pulling series starts at the 5th of October about 9.15 pm (21.15) cet.

The new Mad Max Stage 5

The Mad Max Pulling Team from Gijzegem, in Belgium have built a new Light Modified tractor during the last winter. The new Mad Max got a wedge frame with a homemade ROP and a homemade rear axle. The rear axle has a Rockwell differential with Mercedes planetaries. Also, the tractor got a set of Midwest rims with Firestone Puller 2000 HP tyres.
The Light Mod is powered by a 6 cylinder turbocharged DAF 1260 truck engine on methanol. The engine has 3 Holset turbochargers, a Waterman fuel pump, a billet crankshaft with special made Aluminium rods and pistons and a Aluminium cylinder head with overhead camshafts. The cylinder head was made by van der Waal pulling parts in Etten Leur, the Netherlands. The DAF engine has a twin MSD 8 ignition with 2 spark plugs per cylinder and a homemade Omron datalogger system. The clutch of the tractor is a Crower 11 inch Aluminum clutch with a Browell clutch bell.

Changes at Alcoholic

The UNL Modified tractor called ,,Alcoholic´´ of Jacob Ohl from Danville, Illinois in the USA got some changes during the last winter. All MXAG V8 Hemi engines on the tractor got a new F-11 blower with a new Carbon scoop, new cylinder heads, a newly better oil system and new oil pans for a better lubrication. Also, the UNL Mod got newer lighter Carbon fenders.
Jacob Ohl compete with his ,,Alcoholic´´ on the ITPA and NTPA events in the USA.
