First pics and news of the new MPM Seaside Affair

The MPM Seaside Affair Team from Castricum in the Netherlands, are building a new tractor for the modified and unlimited class. The Team bought the old Double Down (without the turbines) of Larry Roberts from the USA last September. Actually the team only used the old rear axle of the old Double Down for their new project. But the deal was the complete package with wedge frame, the rims with Puller 2000 HP tyres, the ROP, the SCS Crossbox and the SCS driveline.
Back to the new, the tractor gets a new Domex wedge frame and this new/old rear axle of the Double Down.
Also, the top V8 Ford engine will be replaced by a 3rd TFX NRE X-1 V8 Hemi engine. The team will compete in the Dutch Grand National Championships (modified and unlimited class) this year. The first start of the new MPM Seaside Affair is planned for the 7th of March 2015 at the European Superpull in Ahoy, Rotterdam (NL).

Changes at Little Rascal

The mini rod called ,,Little Rascal´´ of Hans Groenheide from Maasdijk, in the Netherlands got some changes during the winter. The turbocharger of the KB V8 Hemi engine was moved from the back of the engine to the top / front of the engine. For the same reason, the team will try to move the new fuel tank from the back to the front end of the turbocharged KB V8 Hemi engine. The team hopes to get a better balance and more weight on the front end with those changes. The exhaust and intake system of the engine were revised Also, the team will rebuild their KB V8 Hemi Stage 6 engine and will make some passes with it this season. The Team will compete in the Dutch Grand National Championship this year.
