The new Great Experience

After almost 1 1/2 years of planning and building, the new 4.5t / 9260lbs. Component Super Sport Tractor called ,,Great Experience´´ of  Wilco van Laar and Gerard Hardeman from Overberg, in the Netherlands is ready. The New Holland Tractor was completely planned and constructed on CAD by Team member Maarten de Kruijf. The Dutch Team started with building of the new ride in the beginning of 2016 in their workshop and finished their new project in the end of May 2017.
The new Great Experience received a new homemade S420 steel wedge frame with a homemade Rollcage, a homemade hydraulic steering, a DAF Truck rearend and a New Holland T7 270 hood.
The fenders and the hood are based on the current New Holland T7 series. The Super Sport have a Profab 3 speed transmission with a self built drivetrain, a 12.5" inch JVG centrifugal clutch with 5 discs and a homemade clutch bellhousing. The DAF 1339 Truck rear axle has a original DAF center section with a DAF ring and pinion gear, a homemade needle bearing differential, van der Waal Pulling Parts brakes with self constructed brake discs and stock Mercedes planetary carrier housing with Mercedes planetaries. The Tractor also received a set of new homemade steel rims with new cut Michelin 710/70R38 tyres. The Michelin tyres were cut by Hans Heesakkers from the Netherlands.
The Great Experience is powered by an an 6 cylinder FPT (Fiat Powertrain Technologies) Cursor 9 engine with 8.3l capacity on diesel fuel. The FPT power plant got a Cursor engine block with a stock crankshaft, special made rods (manufactured by Chris Maassen) and billet pistons, billet sleeves, a modified FPT stock cylinder head with 24 valves, billet camshafts, a homemade intake and exhaust manifold, a Holset HX 82 turbocharger, a 8600 Bosch P diesel fuel pump, a homemade fuel tank and a homemade water Intercooler.
The Great Experience Pulling Team compete in the Dutch Championship (NTTO 4.5t / 9260lbs. Super Sport Promoniveau division) this year.
All in all, Wilco van Laar, Gerard Hardeman and the rest of the Team were very satisfied with the first hooks this season. On the first event in Erichem, the new Tractor ran pretty good and driver Wilco van Laar finished in 4th place. Only 2 weeks later in Oudenhoorn the Team won their first Dutch Championship round with the new Super Sport Tractor and beat the John Deere called ,,Black Magic´´ by a little bit more than 10m / 32.808 feet.

The new Hella Lambada 9 2.0

After the engine blow up at the Dutch Championship opener in Stroe, the Lambada Pulling Team from Zwolle in the Netherlands have built up their Mini Modified Tractor called ,,Hella Lambada 9´´ completely new. The new second edition of the Hella Lambada 9 got a 25CrMo4 tube frame with an 25CrMo4 ROP (Rollcage), a custom made steering, homemade carbon fiber fenders, a Vreeman Special Products rearend and a set of new Real Wheel Racing aluminium rims with Pioneer Giant Mini Rod tyres from CM Pulling Tires in the USA.
The new tube frame is a copy of the 2016 Bobcat Jr. and was built by the Screamin´ Bobcat Pulling Team from Ijsselmuiden in the Netherlands. The rearend of the new ride is a Ford 9´´ inch rear axle with a aluminium center section, a billet aluminium differential, a special made ring and pinion gear, Willwood brakes, billet aluminium planetary carrier housing with special built planetaries. All the parts of the rear axle were produced by Bennie Vreeman of Vreeman Special Products in Neede, the Netherlands.
The new Hella Lambada 9 2.0 also received a Vreeman driveline with a Vreeman reverser, a 8´´ inch Molinari centrifugal clutch with 3 discs and a Browell aluminium clutch bellhousing. 
The power plant of the new vehicle is a BAE V8 Hemi engine on methanol. The engine has a billet aluminium block with Ken Veney cylinder heads, Moroso valve covers, a billet Winberg crankshaft with aluminuim rods and Sassy Racing pistons, a Sassy Racing fuel system, Dan Olson Racing exhaust headers, a SSI 18-71 blower with an Enderle big & ugly scoop injector, a homemade aluminium methanol fuel tank, a homemade oil tank for the dry sump lubrication, a MSD Pro Mag 44 ignition and a Racepak data logger.
Some parts like the clutch, reverser, the rear wheels, the fenders etc. were took over of the old Hella Lambada Tractor.
The Lambada Pulling Team compete with their new Hella Lambada 9 2.0 in the Dutch Grand National Championship this year. The Dingerink Family is very satisfied with the new Mini Rod so far. Wim Dingerink finished at the maiden voyage with the new Tractor on a great 2nd place in Oudenhoorn and his older brother Gert Dingerink won a week later the Euro Cup Mini Modified competition in Made.

First win for the new Green Monster 5 Mitas Edition

The Green Monster Pulling Team from Füchtorf in Germany have done it to win for the first time with their new 2.5t/5500lbs. twin Allison V12 powered Light Modified Tractor called ,,Green Monster 5 Mitas Edition".
Last weekend at the German Championship round in Grimmen (D), the Tractor made it's first 2 straight runs this season. In the finals, driver Daniel Frische made a very impressive run and stopped with the Sledge at 112.07m/367.684feet. Not only the GM Team was surprised, also the German Red Shadow Sledge Team from Edewecht about the mammoth Pull of the Light Mod twin Allison.
After the lots of small problems during the start of the season, the whole Green Monster Team was very satisfied with the result of the new Tractor in Grimmen (D) and looking forward to the next events of the season.

Jason Hathaway´s new Honkin´ Donkey Grey is ready !

Jason Hathaway´s new 2050lbs. Mini Rod called ,,Honkin´ Donkey Grey´´ is ready for the 2017 Pulling season. The Mini got a 25CrMo4 tube frame with a 25CrMo4 Rollcage, new homemade carbon fiber fenders, a Vreeman Special Products rearend and a set of new Reel Wheel aluminium rims with cut Cepek Mini Rod tyres from CM Pulling Tires. Jason purchased the new Chassis by the Screamin´ Bobcat Pulling Team from Ijsselmuiden in the Netherlands last year. The drivers position on the new tube Chassis is more forward and center of gravity is lower than on his previous Honkin´ Donkey Minis. The Team hopes to get a better balance with this new Chassis in the future.
The new Honkin´ Donkey has a Ford 9´´ inch rear axle with a billet aluminium center section, a aluminium diff with a special made ring and pinion gear and billet aluminium planetaries carrier housing with special made planetaries. The Ford rear axle was completely built by Bennie Vreeman (Vreeman Special Products) from Neede in the Netherlands. The new ride also have a SCS transmission with a VSP driveline, a new 8´´ inch Molinari centrifugal clutch with 2 discs and a Trick Titanium clutch bellhousing.
The new Honkin´ Donkey is powered by a Sassy Racing V8 Hemi engine on methanol fuel. The engine has a BAE billet aluminium block with BAE-10 Alcohol Fat Head cylinder heads, Moroso valve covers, a Winberg crankshaft with MGP aluminium rods and CP-Carrillo aluminium pistons, homemade exhaust headers, a Mike Janis supercharger with an Mike Janis ,,Dragon Slayer´´ billet aluminium injector scoop, a Sassy Racing fuel system, a dry sump lubrication, a RCD oil pump, a aluminium fuel and oil tank, a MSD Pro Mag 44 ignition and a Racepak data logger. The Honkin´ Donkey Pulling Team from Washington, Pennsylvania in the USA will compete in the NTPA Grand National Championship this season
