New Chassis for Argos Oil Whispering Giant

Last weekend, the Whispering Giant Pulling Team from Egmond-Binnen in the Netherlands have announced on their Facebook fan page that they want to build a brand new wedge chassis with lighter components for their multi Isotov TV3 powered modified this winter. The team around Hans Zuurbier and Bas Liefting have decided to build a new chassis for the triple/quad turbine powered mod / heavy mod machine called ''Argos Oil Whispering Giant'' because the new better tires give more grip and more lift. Another thing is the weight of the heavy mod class in the Netherlands and Europe. When they have built their current Argos Oil Whispering Giant in 2010, the weight limit for the heavy mod class was at 4.5t / 9920lbs. But through changes in the rules National and International, the weight was dropped to 4t / 8820lbs during the last years (in the Euro Cup since 2020 too).

The first laser-cut steel components for the new chassis are already arrived in their workshop.

With this new lighter chassis the dutch team hopes to have more moveable weight for a better balance in the future.
