Light Limited Super Stocks at Zellwood Super Pull 2021

German 4.5t sport class tractor sold

The Oliver 1955 of Björn Schütte and Patrick Knue from Gleessen in North Germany has a new home now. The green tractor, which was built for the 4.5t/9920lbs and 5.5t/12125lbs sport class was already for sale since the end of the 2019 German pulling season. In 2019, Björn and his team also won the German Championship title in the 4.5t sport class with this machine. But that wasn't the only title for the team with this Oliver. They won in the past between 2013 and 2018 further German Championship titles too. Björn and Patrick also competed with the 1955 sometimes in the 4.5t super sport class, like in Kalkar, Germany in 2019. In June of 2020, the tractor was completely sold to 2 guys from the federal state of Nordrhein Westfalen. The two new owners of the Oliver 1955 are Manuel Terhorst from Emmerich am Rhein in Germany and Kai van Haal from Anholt in Germany. Both are experienced in farm stock pulling for quite a while.
Manuel Terhorst is the owner and driver of the IH hobby sport tractor called ''Red Gun'' and Kai van Haal is the owner and driver of the IH 744 hobby sport tractor called ''Trouble Maker''.
Both are team members of the Arrogante Hobbysportler team or also better known as Team Ramm Schwatt. This Team also owns a second IH hobby sport tractor which is called Red Sensation. With this tractor, the team won in 2018 and 2019 the German Championship title in the 4.5t hobby sport class.
For the future the new owners have planned to compete with the Oliver 1955 in 4.5t and 5.5t sport class in the German Championship.
And what do Björn Schütte and his team after they have sold tractor?
They are currently planning and working on a new alcohol fired Oliver component tractor for the 3.5t/7700lbs limited super stock class. The first parts of the new project are in progress but a start for 2021 is not planned at the moment.

Jim and Tyler Schaendorf from Dorr, Michigan in the USA have a new sponsor on their 2050lbs mini mod tractor called ''Max' D Out'' this year. The father/son team have signed a sponsor contract with the US american company called ''Renk Seed'' from Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. The Schaendorf's are not the first pulling team which are sponsored by the seeds company. Since last year, the multiple NTPA Grand National champion, Bret Berg from Farmington, Minnesota is also sponsored by Renk Seed with his 4 V8 Hemi powered modified tractor called Money Maker.
Jim and Tyler Schaendorf are very excited to have this company as their sponsor on board for the 2021 season. Both want to compete with the mini in the Lucas Oil PPL Champions Tour and on some other tractor pulls in their country this year.

News from the Bootlegger Pulling Team

On Saturday last week, the Bootlegger Pulling Team around Jason Svonavec from Rockwood, Pennsylvania in the USA have released on their Facebook fan page that they will compete with a second John Deere component pro stock tractor in the NTPA Grand National Championship this year. After a 4th place finish in the 2019 GN pro stock point standings and the win of the 2019 Bowling Green ring with their 10000lbs John Deere 8360R component pro stock tractor called ''Bootlegger'', the US team have decided to purchase a second pro stock machine for the 2021 season.
Jason purchased the John Deere 8400R component pro stock tractor called ''Boyd & Company Green Streak'' of Mike and Andrew Boyd from Washington, Indiana. First, the Boyd & Company Green Streak was sold to the Simon Sez Motorsports Team (they also purchased the second pro stock of the Boyd's, the Green Streak X) from Farley, Iowa.
After the machine was sold to the Simon Sez Motorsports Team, the Simon's decided to sell the John Deere further to Jason Svonavec. The Green Streak Pulling Team competed with the John Deere successfully under the top 10 of the Lucas Oil PPL Champions Tour in the pro stock tractors division in the past. The tractor has a Full Pull Motorsports chassis with a John Deere 8400R aluminum sheet metal hood and a turbocharged 6 cylinder John Deere engine with a lot of billet parts on diesel fuel.
After the purchase the tractor was renamed into ''Coal Fired'' and the team has registered the John Deere for the NTPA Grand National Championship this year. With the newly added tractor to the team this season, the Rockwood-based team will have a second competitive tractor in the hunt for the championship this year and in the nearby future.

Megapull Stroe (NL) 2021 postponed and without spectators

Yesterday, the organization of the Megapull in Stroe, the Netherlands have announced on their social media platform that their tractor pulling event, which was planned for the 11th and 12th of June is postponed to the 26th of June 2021.
That decision was made after consultation with various authorities and it appeared that no events, test and tune days are possible until June 16, 2021, due to the current covid-19 rules. The Megapull in Stroe will be held without spectators on the new date, but it is planned to broadcast the whole event as live stream in the world wide web.

The official statement:

Megapull Stroe rescheduled for June 26 and without an audience.
After consultation with various authorities, it appeared that no events, test and / or training days are possible until June 16. As a result, we have decided to cancel Megapull Stroe on the planned date of June 11th and 12th. We are committed to driving a competition match on Saturday 26 June without an audience, but including a live stream with the top of the Trucks, Farmstock and Grand National.
The situation is still very uncertain, so we will continue to update you.

Made's Powerweekend (NL) 2021 with spectators cancelled!

The official statement from the organization of Made's Powerweekend:

Powerweekend 21 with spectators cancelled
After consultation with the Municipality of Drimmelen and various relevant authorities, we have come to the joint conclusion that a Powerweekend with spectators in June 2021 is not feasible. In fact, it is not yet clear what is and what is not possible. ⚠️
In addition, it is also not yet known when this can be clarified.
As an organization, we fully understand this, but that means that the preparation time is too short for us to realize a Powerweekend with the presence of an audience. However, we will do everything we can to make it another fantastic edition in 2022. 🚜
For those who already had a (camping) ticket for 2020 and have continued it to 2021, this means that the same options are offered again. You can get the purchase price back, or the ticket will be valid for 2022. Tickets for the age under 18 can also be converted back to 18+.
All ticket holders will be informed of this by e-mail. No audience does not mean, however, no Powerweekend. In collaboration with the municipality, we are investigating the possibilities for an edition without an audience and with a live stream. Somewhat comparable to the Test and Tune days of last year. The aim is to give as many classes as possible that do tractor pulling in competition on the Powerweekend. Whether this is possible and for how many classes and participants there will be room, depends on the possibilities at that time. 🏁
