Tractor Pulling Haßmoor cancelled

Yesterday morning, the organization of the tractor pull in Haßmoor, Germany has announced on their Facebook page, that the Superpull of the North which was planned for the 6th of June 2022 is cancelled due to heavy rainfalls during the last days. But that wasn't the only reason for the cancellation, more rain is predicted for Sunday and Monday.

The event organization currently working on an alternative date for 2022.

The statement from the organization in Haßmoor:

Tractor Pulling Haßmoor CANCELLED! ---- The 38th Superpull of the North has been canceled due to the heavy rain of the last few days and the expected rain on Sunday/Monday. Currently, the arena is completely underwater. Tractor pulling is not possible under the conditions. It's not going to be fun to watch, either. But postponed is not lifted. We are currently calling our fingers and ears to organize an alternative date. What does this mean for us? We call each other across Northern Europe to coordinate racing teams, heavy transporters, permits and sled on an alternative date. For you, it means: Please do not arrive at the 6th of June 2022. There will be no Haßmoor. We ask for your understanding. The weather god was and is not on our side in the first lockdown-free year. Stay tuned. We will inform you. Thanks!

Mary Kehl and Spending Their Inheritance Spotlight on Daily Motion

Back in January, while we were all in Florida, this film crew came around and follow Mary and Mike Kehl at the Zellwood Super Pull. They did a tremendous job editing this footage. They even interviewed me. But I think they told the story we all know so that anyone could understand it even with no prior knowledge of the sport. The idea was you got to know Mary and Mike as have over the past few years.

Knowing Mary, Mike, Ryan, their crew, and their personality, this footage was carried over to these clips very well. Mary suffered a tremendous breakage at Orangeburg, SC back in March. They are just putting the finishing touches on the tractor and are scheduled to pull in Wauseon OH. They just started pulling in 2018 and they already have gone to some pretty big pulls over here in the states. I could see them if a venue were to come back, that they would go to pull in Europe at some of the larger indoor events and I know a lot of you would greatly enjoy getting to know this team.

We need more of in pulling. Except the guys that are paid to cover events don't have time or extra people to get the footage needed to do more of this. We will talk amongst ourselves and see what we can figure out and how feasible this is to add to our already long list of to-do items.
