US Guestpullers, Finnish Guestpullers and many more at the 2025 Made's Powerweekend

The organization of Europe's biggest outdoor tractor pulling event in Europe has announced on their website and Facebook page some very nice news for their 2025 Edition of the Event.

The organization of Made's Powerweekend has invited for 2025, two teams from across the pond and a Team with semi pulling trucks and pulling tractors from Finland. But first we start with the guestpullers from the USA. The first guestpuller was announced on the 13th of January 2025. The Fendt component super stock tractor called ''High Hopes'' of Lance and April Micek from Watertown, New York will attend on the pull in June 2025. The Fendt super stock machine is still pretty young and had its maiden run on a Pull in New York in July 2021. The team from Watertown has converted and fully rebuilt their old IH 1066 component super stock tractor, which was called ''Edge of Dream'' into a Fendt component super stock tractor after the 2019 season. Lance and April Micek competes with their Fendt component super stock machine mainly on Pulls of the Empire State Pullers and the NYTPA association in their home state New York during the summer. But they also have competed with the tractor on some NTPA Grand National events and once on the NFMS Pull in the past.

The component tractor of the Micek's has the latest Fendt 900 series hood and is powered by multiple turbocharged IH 6 cylinder engine with a displacement of 504 cui on alcohol fuel. The power plant is equipped with a Crutchfiled Machine billet aluminum cylinder head, billet rods and pistons and has 4 billet Wimer HX82 turbochargers in 2 stages. The powerplant for the Fendt was built by Richard and Jordan Lustik of the Silver Bullet Pulling Team from Eighty Four, Pennsylvania. High Hopes of Lance and April Micek is currently the only Fendt component super stock tractor in the USA. The Team will compete at the Made's Powerweekend in the 7700lbs super stock class against the best super stock machines from the Dutch Championship, the Euro Cup series and as well against the Dutch Fendt 936 Vario component super stock tractor called ''Hurricane'' of Gerrit and Tom Esselink from the Netherlands.

The second guestpuller from the USA was announced on the 12th of February 2025. The second puller from the the USA which was invited to Europe's biggest tractor pull is the Case IH Diesel Super Stock machine called ''Red Horse'' of Stan and Steve Blagrave from Ackerly in the State of Texas. The Blagrave Pulling Team is not a unknown Pulling Team in the USA. The Team around Stan and Steve Blagrave from Texas has won many NTPA Grand National events and 3 NTPA Grand National titles in the Super Stock Diesel division in the past. They also have won 6 times the Bowling Green ring, 10 Chairs of the Lions Pull of the South in Chapel Hill, Tennessee and the NFMS Pull a couple of times. The Blagrave's are active in the tractor pulling sport since 53 years. Derwood Blagrave, Stan and Steve's dad started with tractor pulling in 1972 with a IH stock tractor at local pulls in Texas. Over the next years, the team has built their first IH Super Stock Diesel tractor, which was called ''Red Horse''. 53 years later they have Case IH Magnum 225 component tractor with about 4500hp on Diesel fuel.

The current tractor was built completely new in the winter of 2012/2013. Over the years until now the tractor was further improved and equipped with the latest engine components. The tractor has a Engler chrome-moly tube chassis with a truck rearend with magnesium planetaries on it. The transmission in the tractor is a 4 speed Profab transmission which is connected to custom made bell housing. The hood on the tractor is a replica of a Case IH Magnum hood and is made off aluminum sheet metal to save weight. Just the cooler grill and the lights are original Case IH. The engine in the component tractor is a 6 cylinder IH engine with 540cui on diesel fuel. The 540 cui engine has a IH Hypermax cast iron block with a Hypermax billet steel cylinder head, Hypermax billet pistons and rods and a billet Bryant crankshaft. The engine is charged with 4 billet turbochargers in 3 stages. Already in the first season with the new built Case IH tractor, they won the 2013 NTPA Grand National title in the Super Stock Diesel division with incredible 28 points ahead of the runner-up placed competitor. After 2002, it was their 2nd NTPA Grand National title in Super Stock Diesel division. Another NTPA Super Stock Diesel GN title followed in 2018. Alongside their Super Stock Diesel tractor, they also have 2 TWD truck, which are called ''Wild Horse'' and ''Dark Horse''. They are campaigning with this TWD trucks most of the time in their home state Texas in the Texas Truck & Tractor Pullers Association (TTTPA). The TWD Trucks are already driven by the 3rd generation of the Blagrave's. Sean and Trevor Blagrave, the sons of Steve Blagrave share the driving duties on the TWD trucks.

Like the Fendt 942 component super stock High Hopes, also Red Horse will compete at Made's Powerweekend in the 7700lbs super stock class against the super stock tractors from the Dutch Championship and the Euro Cup Series.

About a month after the announcement that the Blagrave's cominig with their Diesel Super Stock, it was announced that they are also coming over with one of their TWD trucks to the Made's Powerweekend. Alongside their Red Horse, they will compete with their TWD Truck called ''Dark Horse''. That truck has a carbon fiber body which base on a Ford Ranger and is powered by a blown V8 Hemi Racing engine. The Team hasn't competed with the TWD Truck for quiet a while. The TWD was parked for a few years in the workshop of the Blagrave's after Sean Blagrave, the son Steve Blagrave moved. At Made's Powerweekend Trevor Blagrave, the other Son of Steve Blagrave will drive the TWD truck in the TWD class against the best Dutch competitors.

The 4th big invitation for the 2025 edition of Made's Powerweekend is from Finland. After many years not seen very often on International pulling tracks, the Herlevi Pulling Team from Kalavia in Finland comes to Made with 2 pulling tractors and 3 semi pulling trucks. The Team around Pekka and Matti Herlevi will compete with their 3.5t Valtra pro stock tractor called ''Jor-Max'' in the Dutch Championship on Saturday and on Sunday in the Euro Cup of the pro stock division. With the second Valtra tractor called ''Hot Hunter'' they will compete in the 4.5t super sport class of the Dutch Championship on Saturday and in the Euro Cup on Sunday.

In addition to all the guest starters from the USA and Finland, 2 new pulling tractors from Europe will make their maiden voyage in Made. One of them is the new Mini Modified of the Lambada Pulling Team from Zwolle in the Netherlands. After the team of Wim and Gert Dingerink announced last winter that they would compete in the National Tractor Pulling Championships in Bowling Green, Ohio in the USA in 2025 with a newly built Mini, it was announced shortly afterwards that the Dingerinks' new Lambada Mini would be sponsored by the event in Made. The tractor will compete in the National Tractor Pulling Championships in Bowling Green under the name "Power Made Lambada".

With this sponsorship on the new Mini of the Dingerinks, Made's Powerweekend is to be made known to spectators and US teams in the USA. The new Power Made Lambada is equipped with a homemade tube frame and a planetary rear axle from Vampire Gears. The Mini is powered by a BAE V8 Hemi race engine with an SSI 14-71 blower running on methanol. With the help of Boyd Performance and Brian Knox from Washington, Indiana in the USA, the Hemi engine of the tractor is equipped with the best parts available. The Power Made Lambada Mini for the USA will have a yellow and blue color scheme, also reminiscent of the Dingerinks' Hella Lambada Mini from the past. The Dingerinks last pulled in a yellow / blue livery from 2015 to 2019 when they had automotive supplier Hella as their main sponsor on the Mini. The event in Made will also be the only appearance of the Power Made Lambada on European soil, after which the Mini will be shipped to the USA in a container.

In addition to the premiere of the Power Made Lambada in the Mini Modified class, the new Diesel Super Stock of the Neighbours Nightmare Pulling Team from Schijf in the Netherlands will also have its first run in Made. After the team around Daniel Vriends had to skip the first two rounds of the Dutch Championship in Loerbeek (not finished in time) and Stroe (due to minor incidents), the new John Deere will take its first steps in front of the sled in Made. During the last year and the last two winters the Dutch team had built a completely new tractor for the Super Stock class. The new Diesel Super Stock was equipped with a homemade wedge chassis and a shortened truck rear axle.

As the icing on the cake, the tractor was fitted with a current John Deere 8R hood.

Along with the Limited Super Stock Lille Bjorn from Denmark, the new Neighbours Nightmare is currently one of two Super Stock tractors in Europe with a current John Deere 8R hood. Under the new John Deere 8R hood working a 10.1-liter John Deere engine with a billet steel cylinder head and 3 turbochargers. The engine is fed by a diesel pump from Columbus Diesel Supply in the USA. With the new Neighbours Nighmare, a Super Stock diesel is back in the hunt for points in the Dutch championship after 20 years. The last Super Stock with a diesel engine in the Dutch championship was the Ford 9600 called Hurricane, driven by Gerrit Esselink and Erik Meyer in 2005.

The Made's Powerweekend will be on the 13th, 14th and 15th of June 2025.

Haßmoor cancelled!

This morning the organization of the Superpull of the North in Haßmoor and the German Tractor Pulling Association ''DTTO'' have announced that the pull which was usually planned for the 9th of June 2025 has been cancelled due to inclement weather. The reason for the cancellation of the event was the rain that fell last night and this morning, and more rain is in the forecast for the whole day today. The rain made the paddock unpassable for the trucks. Also the other areas around the event location for the parking lots are also no longer passable.
