At the
Indoor Pull in Fredericia, Denmark, the Rabbit Pulling Team led by Henrik
Svenningsen from Hjallerup in northern Denmark unveiled their redesigned
“Rabbit G'n Wild” for the 2026 season for the first time. After nearly 12 years
with the same look, the tractor underwent a complete facelift over the past
winter. The Component Super Stock received a new hood and new fenders. The
old Massey Ferguson 8737 hood, which was built by Ace Chassis in the USA, was
replaced with a brand-new Massey Ferguson 9S 425 hood. The Massey Ferguson 9S
series was unveiled in 2023 at Agritechnica in Hanover, Germany. It is currently the
largest standard tractor in the Massey Ferguson lineup.

In addition, the old
aluminum fenders were replaced with new, custom-built fenders. The back end of the custom-built fenders comes off a MF 8400 and rest of it is made off aluminum sheet metal. Like
the old one, the Rabbit G'n Wild’s new 9S hood can be opened electrically. The Rabbit Pulling Team did all the sheet metal work and the modifications to the hood.
Nothing was changed on the tractor’s chassis, everything remained the same as in
the previous years. The chassis, which is made of chrome-moly tubing, has been
in use ever since the team built the tractor. It was built in 2013 by Mike Stinson of Ace Chassis in the USA, who also built the old Massey Ferguson 8737 hood for the Rabbit G'n Wild.
No big changes were made to the 6-cylinder Cummins engine with a 10.5l displacement and 3 Harts turbochargers under the new 9S hood over the winter.
The
engine was overhauled, and was equipped with some new improved parts. The 3 Harts turbochargers also received some minor setup changes to improve their performance. Since the engine in the Rabbit G'n Wild did not always run
smoothly last year, the team hopes that these adjustments will further improve
reliability and mileage in 2026.
In addition
to the facelift featuring the new hood, there was another visible change to the
“Rabbit G'n Wild.” The Firestone Puller 2000 HP 30.5x32 tires were replaced with
a set of newly cut Parkes Puller 30.5x32 tires. Having seen the Parkes Puller tires for the first time at the National Tractor Pulling Championships in Bowling Green, Ohio, in 2025, the team was impressed. Following their visit in Bowling Green, they decided to order a set of these tires for the 2026 season, as the Danes wanted to try something new compared to their European competitors. The Parkes Puller tires were developed by
Bob Parkes, the owner of Custom Tire Cutting Inc. from Oaktown, Indiana in the USA. But the Rabbit Pulling Team from Denmark had ordered and purchased the tires at Extreme Performance & Tire
Cutting in Rock Valley, Iowa, USA. Taylor van Beek, the owner of Extreme Performance & Tire Cutting has cut the tires for the Danish Team. Extreme Performance & Tire Cutting is a exclusive dealer for Parkes Puller tires in the USA.
The Rabbit Pulling Team is currently one of the first pulling teams in
Europe to use a set of cut 30.5x32 Parkes Puller tires. According to reports,
several sets of these new Parkes Puller tires have been exported from the USA
to Europe, so we will likely see a few more teams using these tires on their
pulling tractors over the course of the year.
The new,
cut Parkes Puller tires were mounted on new, polished aluminum rims from
Northern Sheen in Canada. The team was satisfied with the performance of the
new tires at the indoor pull in Fredericia, though the competition did not go
entirely without incident for the team. Unfortunately, the bottom Harts
turbocharger failed during the final. Despite the broken turbocharger, Nikolaj
Svenningsen was still able to secure 3rd place with the “Rabbit G'n Wild.”
Overall, the new Massey Ferguson 9S hood gives the Rabbit G'n Wild a fresh new look that is sure to be popular with tractor-pulling fans. The Rabbit Pulling Team
will once again compete in the Danish Championship and the Euro Cup during the
2026 season with the updated Rabbit G'n Wild.
