Biography Team Dingo

I've send some Emails to some teams with some questions to make some Biographys of the teams, the first one is the Dingo Team with their tractor Dingo. The team was found in 1987 by the four Larsen Brothers in Denmark. The first Dingo was built during winter 86/87 with a Volvo TD50 Engine. In the next years the took bigger and bigger engines.
Finaly in 1993 they had a MAN v10 with 16l of displacement and 4 Turbos, you can see the tractor on the picture below, but the engine made some problems.

In 1995 the engi
ne was changed to a MB ON 403 with hardened connecting rods and pistons and cylinder heads. Since then they use this type of engine. The very hard tuned engine has 16l of displacement and has 320hp - 360hp in stock. Now the engine is producing over 2000hp and makes over 4000rpm using two special turbos, a special injection pump and 8 hole injectors. At the moment the Dingo Team is running in the 2500 kg Modified class with their tractor, that was build in 1993. They allways try to keep up with the methanol guys and they allways try to make their live very hard with their Diesel technic, without the help of any sponsor. The tractor has a homemade transmission and a Volvo 614 Truck differential. They say their biggest victory was at the European Championships 1991 in Great Britain. Their favorite pull is in the Herning Pulling Arena Denmark. Their goal for the next saison is place 3 in the Danish Championship. To reach that goal they are doing some changes on their engine for example the intercooler and a 14m Bosch P Pump. Feel free to visit their website http://www.teamdingo.dk. Below you can see how the tractor looks now. For me it's the most friendly tractor of the world :-)
