Great success for the Screamin Bobcat Team with their Mini Rod called ,,Bobcat Jr.´´ in the USA. The Team won with the support by Philip Fairbanks and the Dirtslinger Pulling Team the 2nd session of the NTPA GN Lions Super Pull of the South in Chapel Hill, Tennesee. The driver Philip Fairbanks had a good pass in the finals, 312.740 feet was enough for the win in Chapel Hill. In runner up position was Adam Bauer with his Mini Rod called ,,Iron Toy´´ and in third was Larry Koester with Footloose. A few days later was the first PPL competition round of the Mini Rod class in Goshen, Indiana. Berrie Boer made a great pass with 337.440 feet, on a too dry track in Goshen. The distance was enough for the win and Berrie was absolutely happy with his first run of the season, in the USA on Bobcat Jr.. The next event was the NTPA GN round in Fort Recovery, Ohio. On Friday (session one) the tractor was driven by Bill Leischner (normally driver of the big mod called ,,Speedco Dirtslinger´´). After a good qualifyfing pass, he had a little bit bad luck in the finals. Bill had the best distance so far, but, he was over the left white line and he was out of bounds (disq). Bill finished in 5th on friday evening. More luck had his son Shannon Leischner a day later. Shannon drove for the first time a Mini Rod in his career and made his job very well. He made great pass in the finals. The distance of 328.605 feet was the win for Shannon in Fort Recovery.
3 wins in 7 days, not bad !
Next stop for the Screamin Bobcat Team is the PPL round in Hillsboro, Wisconsin.
Berrie Boer, Marty Wilson & Bart van der Sluis. Marty Wilson is a team member of the Dirtslinger Pulling Team and a big help for the Screamin Bobcat Team when they are over there
