New Super Sport Tractor of the ZA/TRA Pulling Team

The ZA/TRA Pulling Team from Schleswig Holstein in Germany are building on a new John Deere Tractor for the 3.6t Super Sport class at the moment. The new Tractor gets wedge frame with ROP from van der Waal Pulling Parts and a old John Deere 4020 hood. The wedge frame come from the old Mud Patrol Pro Stock from the Netherlands.
The Tractor has John Deere rearend with a JD 4030 gearbox from Ron Perry (USA) and JD 4020 clutch bell.
The new 3.6t Super Sport Tractor will have a 7.6l 6 cylinder JD 4455 engine with a JD 4455 crankshaft, a JD 40 Series cylinder head, a homemade intake and exhaust system, homemade pistons, JD stock rods with some changes, a air / water Intercooler and a Holset HX 60 turbocharger. But the capacity of the John Deere engine will be reduced from 7.6l to 7.0l, because of the rules in the 3.6t Super Sport class.
The Team will use a set of old Michelin tyres with 42 inch rims.
The ZA/TRA Pulling Team will compete in the German Championship this year. The first start of the new 3.6t Super Sport class Tractor is planned for the second half of the season this year.
