Changes at Elkaer Metal Boy

The Light Modified Tractor called ,,Elkaer Metal Boy´´ of the Hvilsom Pulling Team from Hobro in Denmark gets some changes at the moment. The Tractor gets a new improved Domex wedge frame (more weight on the front end) with a homemade ROP and new lighter glass fiber (GFRP) fenders. The new glass fiber fenders were made by the Gladiator Pulling Team from Denmark. The old wedge frame was replaced, because after the crash landing at the Euro Cup in Made (NL) 2015 the frame was bent. The rear axle of the Light Mod receives a new homemade Scania Aluminum differential.
The turbocharged Iveco V8 Truck engine on Methanol also gets some changes. The engine receives some new liners, new pistons and new revised Iveco cylinder heads. The old cylinder heads of the engine were cracked after the last season.
The Hvilsom Pulling Team will compete with their Light Mod Tractor in the Danish Championship and in the Euro Cup this year. The first start of the Elkaer Metal Boy is planned for the 30th of April 2016 at the Danish Championship opener in Brande, Denmark.
