Anholt 2022

This weekend, the tractor pulling sport returns to Anholt for the first time since 2019. After a 2 years break due to the COVID-19 pandemic, teams from 5 different European nations will fight for the victory in different classes. After many years with the main program on Sunday at the pull, the organization of the event from Anholt has changed the schedule for 2022. Almost all main classes, which ran their competition on Sunday in the 2019 schedule, were moved to the Saturday afternoon/evening for 2022. The Saturday in Anholt starts with Garden Pulling at 12pm CET. After the 500 kg stock, 500 kg modified, 600 kg compact diesel, and the 600 kg modified class follows the 4.5t hobby sport and the 4.5t sport class. The first really exciting class of the day is the 3.6t super sport class, with the best tractors from all over Germany and a record lineup of 24 competitors. After 3 of 4 hood classes of that day, follows the first high horsepower class with the 950 kg modified class. On the competitors, list are the best mini modified tractors from Germany, the Netherlands, and Denmark. That weekend, one German Team will celebrate their return to the mini modified class after a 21 years absence.
Thomas Zimmermann from Ettlenschieß in south Germany returning to the mini mod class with a brand-new Arias V8 powered Joker. The Joker Pulling Team celebrated their biggest successes in this class with many German Championship titles and 2 European Championship titles in the 90s. Also, the new BAE V8 Hemi-powered mini called ''Little Bastard'' of Sven Müller and Sven Riedener from Switzerland will make its maiden run in front of the sled there. But that is not all, the organization of the pull in Anholt also has invited the top mini modified tractors from the Netherlands. The Dutch Teams will use this event as a test before their first championship round in the Netherlands. At the start will be Bobcat Jr., Screamin' Bobcat, Exception, Backdraft, Let's Try, Vampire, Pokerface, and the Hind from the Netherlands.
Another surprise on the list is the new Blacksmed from Denmark. Usually, in Brande, Denmark is the first danish championship round of the year that day, but the owner and driver Flemming Smed has decided not to run in Denmark and drive in Anholt instead. It will be the most exciting class of the day. After the minis follow the 3.5t modified class with all German top teams on the list plus Willem Veldhuizen's twin John Deere alky burner powered Bits N' Pieces as guest puller. The final class of the day will be the 3.5t super stock class. Alongside the German super stock competitors, there are also some of the best Dutch super stock tractors on the list. From the Zeinstra's with their both John Deere's up to Maximum Risk from the Netherlands are quite a few from the list. The end of the event is planned for about 10:30 pm CET.
The competition on Sunday starts at 9 am CET with the competition of the micro pullers in the area. The big tractor pullers on the 100 m track start at 10 am with the 3.5t and 6t hobby sport class. After the 2 hobby sport classes follow the 3.5t limited super stock class with currently 6 competitors on the list. The new Dutch Ford called ''Silver Bullet'' of Martin and Justin van Echtelt will make its first voyage on a pulling track outside the Netherlands there. For another tractor in this class is Anholt the home pull and that is Strapping Lloyd. The Team around event organizer and driver Tobias Paus will also reveal on their home pull the whole new look with the new vinyl graphics on their Case IH limited super stock for the first time.
After the problems in Füchtorf, Tobias and the team hope they can make some nice passes in front of their home crowd. After the limited super stock class, the day will round up with the 3.5t sport class and the 12t stock class.
It is definitely worth making a trip to Anholt, the lineup alone on Saturday and Sunday gives hope for a very interesting competition!
By the note, for everyone who has no time to come to Anholt, the whole pull will be broadcast as livestream at www.wwptv.plus!
