After the crash at the Euro Cup round in Edewecht, Germany, the Green Monster Pulling Team from Füchtorf in Germany has decided not to return with their triple Allison V12 powered heavy modified tractor called ''Green Fighter'' to the pulling tracks for the rest of the 2023 season.
After the wild ride of the tractor in Edewecht, the front axle was totally smashed and the wheelie bars of the tube chassis were badly bent. Back in the workshop, the triple Allison was completely dismantled by the team and there also came all damages on the chrome-moly tube chassis to the fore. But the worst fears came true for the team.

The chassis was not just bent on the rear, it also was badly bent on different places over all the length of the chassis and also on the same positions when it was already bent after the first crash landing in Weseke, Germany 2010. At that time, the team had repaired the chassis again and run with it until now. After assessing the damage to the chassis, the team decided not to repair the chassis again, because it was too badly damaged in the crash. The decision not to repair the chassis was also made easier by the fact that a new Green Fighter was already been planned for the future.
So that means, the Euro Cup round in Edewecht was the last run for the Green Fighter in this configuration for this year and for the future.
The upcoming winter will be very busy for the team to get a brand new triple Allison powered Green Fighter for the heavy modified class on the track in 2024.
Of course, we will stay on the ball for you as soon as the first information about the new Green Fighter should be available!
