Changes at Elkaer Metal Boy

The Light Modified Tractor called ,,Elkaer Metal Boy´´ of the Hvilsom Pulling Team from Hobro in Denmark gets some changes at the moment. The Tractor gets a new improved Domex wedge frame (more weight on the front end) with a homemade ROP and new lighter glass fiber (GFRP) fenders. The new glass fiber fenders were made by the Gladiator Pulling Team from Denmark. The old wedge frame was replaced, because after the crash landing at the Euro Cup in Made (NL) 2015 the frame was bent. The rear axle of the Light Mod receives a new homemade Scania Aluminum differential.
The turbocharged Iveco V8 Truck engine on Methanol also gets some changes. The engine receives some new liners, new pistons and new revised Iveco cylinder heads. The old cylinder heads of the engine were cracked after the last season.
The Hvilsom Pulling Team will compete with their Light Mod Tractor in the Danish Championship and in the Euro Cup this year. The first start of the Elkaer Metal Boy is planned for the 30th of April 2016 at the Danish Championship opener in Brande, Denmark.

The Resistance Pulling Team from Buurse in Netherlands are currently building a new Valtra Tractor for the 3.6t Super Sport class. The new Tractor gets a homemade Domex wedge frame with a homemade ROP and a Valtra S280 hood. The fenders of the Tractor come from the Valtra N series. The new Super Sport Tractor receives a Valtra 8150 rear axle with a needle bearings differential, a Valtra gearbox with 4 gears from the old dutch Pro Stock Tractor called ,,Next Sensation´´ and a new Eagle clutch with 4 discs. The Tractor will have a 6.9l 6 cylinder Sisu 620 engine with a revised Sisu 620 stock cylinder head, a homemade intake and exhaust system, a billet Holset HX 60 turbocharger, a stock crankshaft, Sisu rods and pistons, a homemade Aluminium Intercooler and a Bosch P Diesel fuel pump with 13mm elements. The Team purchased for the new Tractor a set of used rims with Goodyear 650 x 38 tyres.
The Resistance Pulling Team will compete in the Dutch TSTA Competition and if it´s possible also on some German Championship (DTTO) events.
The first start of the new Valtra S280 3.6t Super Sport Tractor is planned for the 2016 season.

Red Fuchs sold !

The 3.5t Sport class Tractor called ,,Red Fuchs´´ of Jörg Zeranski from Delingsdorf in Germany was sold. The IH 1246 was sold to the Evolution Pulling Team around Jörn Budding from Schleswig Holstein in Germany. The new name of the Tractor is ,,Black Evolution´´.
The Evolution Pulling Team will compete with their new toy in the German Championship (3.5t Sport class) this year.

Changes and new main sponsor on Rocket Science

The Light Modified Tractor called ,,Rocket Science´´ from Weert in the Netherlands got some updates during the last winter. The Light Mod received a new paint job, a completley new design on the fenders and with BMO Automation a new main sponsor came on board. BMO Automation is a manufacturer and supplier of automation solutions for loading of CNC turning and milling machines with headquarters in Nederweert, the Netherlands. The new design and stickers for the fenders were made by JAMP from Weert in the Netherlands.
Also the 12.6l DAF 1260 Truck engine with 3 Holset turbochargers on methanol got some improvements during the last winter.
The Rocket Science Pulling Team will compete in Dutch Grand National Championship and in the Euro Cup this year. The first start after those changes is planned for the 9th of April 2016 at the Indoor Tractor Pull in Riesa, Germany.
