Unique Tractor-Pulling event in Holland……
Made’s Powerweekend “The XXL Pulling-Event”.
In the weekend of 12, 13 and 14th june in Made (south-west of Holland) one of the most beautiful events related to truck and tractor-pulling in the Netherlands and maybe even in Europe will take place. The promoters invited 9 different pulling-associations to their pulling-arena (equipped with 3 clay-tracks) to pull together in a weekend-pull. Of course also the famous Pulling-Party will be held on saturday-evening, have fun and meet hundreds of pulling minded people. Very special to this edition is the submission of the 3rd day to the event and of course the Eurocup Pro-Stock class as well as the Eurocup 2,5 and 0.95 ton modified classes . And these classes will be packed with European pullers, a field of tractors like you only see at the European Championships once a year…..that’s why we call it “the XXL Pulling Event”
A short look into the program: This year there’s an warming-up on Friday at 19.00 hours with local classes, Mini-diesels and a big Monster truck show. Saturday at 15.00 hours we will start with the NTTO –A division, (Dutch top-classes); Hypro-pullers and NTTO farm-, sport-, and supersport classes; Big Rigs; Car-, Garden- and Micro-pullers. Sunday’s pulls will start at 11 o’clock again with some classes of earlier mentioned associations besides NTTO-B division and BKTV (Belgian top-classes). On this day we will see the Eurocup Pro-Stock class and the 2,5 and 0.95 ton modified Euro Cup AND the best show of last year, the 3,5 and 4,5 ton Eurochallenge, a competition for European Hot-farm tractors. Euro-cup and Eurochallenge will have competitors from Norway, Finland, Sweden, Great-Britain, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland and of course Holland and Belgium and show about 70 tractors and will join with the B-division /BKTV classes.
At 22.00 hours saturday evening it’s Party-Time in the huge tent just beside the tracks, meet friends, enjoy the music, have a drink and just HAVE FUN! For children there’s a special arena to play, grown-ups can also find a lot of different things to see and buy at the mini-market.
So at this pull the audience can see all levels of truck- and tractor-pulling, from local farmer toEuropean champions in the sport. With this 9 different associations they will all be there and…..they all bring their own sledge. Further information you can get at our web-site www.powerweekend.nl .
