Lochem 2020 cancelled!

Also, the 2 days Dutch Championship round in Lochem, the Netherlands which was usually planned for the 31st of July and the 1st of August is canceled due to the COVID-19 situation in the Netherlands.

here is the official statement of the STPL:
 
We are very sorry to have to tell you this, it may not come as a surprise, but Tractorpulling Lochem 2020 can unfortunately not continue because of the Corona virus. The development of the virus is uncertain, it is not known when it is responsible to meet with large groups of people again and it is, therefore, unclear whether the event can take place at the end of July.
The economic consequences of the crisis are also noticeable among sponsors. Marketing budgets are in some cases provisionally frozen or adjusted downwards. We fully understand that. But without this support (and of the many volunteers) an event like Tractorpulling Lochem is not financially feasible.

In order to organize a competition, we must enter into financial obligations in the short term. The situation now means that we do not think it is responsible to take this risk.
We made this decision early on. But the continuity of the event and above all the health of everyone is, for now, the most important thing. It is a great pity for the fans, volunteers, everyone involved and for us as a board, but it is no different! We hope to welcome you again on August 6th and 7th, 2021.
